NATUREZWAY and Kathy Ireland: Champions of Change

Los Angeles, CA | September 28, 2020 - Sustainability is a lifestyle that impacts our planet and shapes our communities, changing the way we live now in order to protect the earth’s resources for the future. Consumers are becoming more aware of their responsibility to choose sustainable living. This shifting social consciousness has triggered a metamorphosis in home products, fueling a trend toward cleaner, greener living. As champions of change, companies have also evolved significantly in the last decade: adjusting manufacturing practices and standards while forging new corporate partnerships to advance environmental progress.

NATUREZWAY--an up-and-coming brand offering superior, eco-friendly products for the last four years--has partnered with powerhouse brand kathy ireland Worldwide to develop a line of non-toxic homeware products. Together, they will utilize sustainable manufacturing practices to produce ‘tree free” compostable home entertaining and cleaning products, in keeping with kathy ireland Worldwide’s commitment to the environment. Mindfully crafted,  kathy ireland ECO-CLEAN BY NATUREZWAY will be made from bamboo and other renewable materials, featuring a new, high-quality sustainable packaging. Not recycled paper, but a sustainable eco poly packaging that will complement the new collection as it debuts across the country this fall. This affordable range of premium items will initially include compostable cups and waste bags, bamboo/sugarcane plates, and bamboo paper towels, napkins and floor wipes—all coming to a store near you this October. The new collection, kathy ireland ECO-CLEAN BY NATUREZWAY is chemical-free, designed to be kid and pet-friendly, and never tested on animals.

To have such a collaborative association will mark a milestone in the evolution and diversification of the NATUREZWAY brand as an innovative visionary in the eco-friendly products industry. Additionally, as we continue to take the products we offer our customers to the next level, we are very excited to introduce our new compostable packaging.  [It’s] an environmentally friendly product with a premium level of packaging for our customers,” remarks Sean Solouki, founder and CEO of NATUREZWAY, Inc. The key renewable resource which allows NATUREZWAY to provide this level of quality is bamboo. Bamboo is not a tree but a fast-growing grass that can grow a meter a day. When cultivated responsibly, this rapid growth allows some species to reach maturity in only three years. Manufacturing with bamboo preserves thousands upon thousands of conventional trees worldwide--forests that could take a century to grow back after logging. Mature bamboo can be harvested annually, and because it’s a grass, bamboo stumps sprout new growth, eliminating the need to replant. It is estimated that 25,000 acres of bamboo can provide 1,000,000 tons of raw fiber per year. NATUREZWAY carries an FSC Certification, a gold standard that guarantees that their bamboo supply is responsibly managed and harvested using environmentally conscious practices.
