Los Angeles, CA | September 28, 2020 - Sustainability is a lifestyle that impacts our planet and shapes our communities, changing the way we live now in order to protect the earth’s resources for the future. Consumers are becoming more aware of their responsibility to choose sustainable living. This shifting social consciousness has triggered a metamorphosis in home products, fueling a trend toward cleaner, greener living. As champions of change, companies have also evolved significantly in the last decade: adjusting manufacturing practices and standards while forging new corporate partnerships to advance environmental progress.

The key renewable resource which allows NATUREZWAY to provide this level of quality is bamboo. Bamboo is not a tree but a fast-growing grass that can grow a meter a day. When cultivated responsibly, this rapid growth allows some species to reach maturity in only three years. Manufacturing with bamboo preserves thousands upon thousands of conventional trees worldwide--forests that could take a century to grow back after logging. Mature bamboo can be harvested annually, and because it’s a grass, bamboo stumps sprout new growth, eliminating the need to replant. It is estimated that 25,000 acres of bamboo can provide 1,000,000 tons of raw fiber per year.
